Warranty & Returns Policy
Warranty & Returns Policy
1. Standard Warranty Coverage
All products supplied by our company come with a 1-year limited warranty starting from the date of purchase. This covers faults occurring under normal usage and when the product is used strictly for its intended purpose.
2. Faulty Items, Repairs, & Replacements
If a product develops a fault within the 1-year warranty period, we will evaluate the claim and arrange to either repair or replace the item. Cash/card refunds are not offered on faulty parts where repair or replacement is possible under our warranty terms.
- Return Shipping: The customer is responsible for shipping costs when returning the suspected faulty item to us for inspection.
- Return Delivery: If the item is confirmed to be faulty after evaluation, we will cover the freight costs to send the repaired or replacement item back to you.
3. Change of Mind & Incorrect Selection
We do not offer cash/card refunds as a standard practice if you change your mind, select an incorrect product, or purchase an item incompatible with your setup. Please verify all compatibility and technical requirements before purchasing.
In certain circumstances, at our discretion, we may accept returns for change of mind or incorrect order selection. Approved returns will be issued as a store credit/voucher or fulfilled as a product exchange.
4. Exclusions & Limitations of Liability
To protect our company and ensure fair usage, the following terms apply:
- Third-Party Labor & Repair Charges: We are not liable or responsible for any labor costs, diagnostic fees, or charges incurred by mechanics, automotive repairers, or third parties associated with parts purchased from us.
- Misdiagnosis & Incorrect Installation: We assume no liability for incorrectly diagnosed vehicle faults or for damage caused to the vehicle or part due to improper installation, neglect, or misuse.
- Modification & Tampering: Any product that has been modified, tampered with, altered, physically damaged, or subjected to altered wiring (e.g., cut or shortened wires) will immediately render the warranty void.
5. Statutory Compliance
This policy operates in accordance with standard automotive industry guidelines and New Zealand consumer law, including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 and the Fair Trading Act 1986. Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your non-excludable statutory rights under New Zealand law.
